"Easy and quick for basic edits"
I mostly use it to trim out mistakes and clean up videos when we’re in a hurry. It’s not some complicated thing where you have to, like, learn a whole process first. It just kind of does what we need, and my team can jump in without overthinking it. Straightforward...

"Mostly feels safe for work stuff"
I use Loom a lot for work videos and random internal notes, so privacy is something I actually care about. It feels secure overall, though I still get a little paranoid anytime I’m sharing a link to something work-related.
I like that you can limit who sees a video and delete stuff when you’re done with it. The settings are easy enough to find, even though part of me still thinks there are too many little options to double-check before sending something.

I haven’t had any weird login problems or accidental sharing issues so far. It gives me peace of mind for quick recordings, even if I’m somehow both trusting it and still checking the link twice every time.

"Decent mobile app, but it can be glitchy"
I use Loom on my phone every once in a while, and it’s fine for recording quick clips. The annoying part is that uploads sometimes get stuck, and the app feels kind of slow here and there. I’m not sure how to explain it, but it just feels a little clunky at times. Not terrible overall, just frustrating when it happens.

"I’ve been using Loom it works well…"
I’ve been using Loom it works well for what I need. Maybe I’m just being cheap, but I do wish the paid plan was a little lower. For the price, it’s still solid, though...

"Loom just Fits into our day"
We use loom pretty much every day now, and it’s been super easy for the team to pick up. It connects nicely with Slack and Google Drive, so sending a quick update or walkthrough doesn’t feel like One More Thing to do. I use it a lot when I don’t feel like typing out a long message. It saves time and just kind of Blends in with how we already work.

"Loom has been dependable for me..."
Loom has been dependable for me. From my experience, videos upload fast, the share links usually work without any hassle, and I can’t really remember it crashing on me. It feels like one of those tools that just gets out of the way and lets me record work stuff without turning it into a whole project. Overall, I’ve been happy with it.

"I’ve been really happy using Loom for…"
I’ve been really happy using Loom for quick screen recordings with my team. It’s so much easier to just record what I need to explain, copy the link, and send it over instead of dealing with big uploads or extra steps. The captions and simple playback are a nice bonus too, especially when someone misses a meeting or wants to catch up later. It’s not flawless every single time, but overall it saves me a lot of time and makes explaining things feel way less frustrating...

"Really good captions, really good"
I’ve been happy with Loom’s captions. They’re accurate for my videos most of the time, like really accurate. And when the transcription does miss little things here and there, it’s easy to go in and fix them, which makes the whole thing feel simple, simple...

"I’ve got to give Loom credit here: it..."
I’ve got to give Loom credit here: it does a solid job keeping my videos organized, and the search actually works the way you’d hope. I can usually pull up an old recording quickly without wasting time digging through folders. It’s not like every part of the app is perfect, but for finding past videos, it’s been really reliable for me.

"It got fixed, but the support felt slow"
I had to wait a little while before someone actually helped me, which was a bit frustrating at the time. To be fair, they did eventually sort the issue out, so I can’t say it was a terrible experience overall. It just felt like the replies came in slower than I expected, and when they did respond, the answers were kind of basic and not super detailed. In the end, the problem was fixed, but I wish the whole process had felt a little more responsive and helpful.

"I blame the Loom extension at this point"
I’ve been trying to use the Loom browser extension for quick work videos, it’s been more frustrating than helpful. I’ll click to record and sometimes it just doesn’t start, or I finish a video and realize the audio never got picked up. A couple of times it even froze the whole tab on me. I ended up having to redo recordings more than once, which kind of defeats the purpose of using it to save time. Maybe the desktop app is better, but the extension has been unreliable for me

"Storage limits actually make sense!!"
I use Loom mostly for quick team videos, and honestly... the storage limits are easy to understand!! I also really like that older clips don’t just disappear out of nowhere because of the retention settings, so I’m not sitting there worrying about losing stuff randomly. It’s simple, straightforward, and does exactly what I need!!!

"Billing was simple"
I didn’t have much trouble finding the account settings, and the billing info was clear enough. I could tell what I was being charged for without having to click around forever. Changing plans could definitely be easier though. Anyway...

"Frustrating for team chats"
I’ve tried using this for team discussions, but it gets messy fast. Sharing feedback isn’t very smooth, replies are easy to miss, and the answers people get can be inconsistent, which just adds more confusion. It’s fine for simple stuff, but for actual team chats it’s been frustrating

"I’ve been using Loom for client updates..."
I’ve been using Loom for client updates lately, being able to add our logo and keep everything on brand makes a bigger difference than I expected. It’s really easy to tweak things, so the videos don’t feel random or thrown together. I can see why a lot of teams seem to use it for client communication, it just makes everything feel a bit more professional.

"Super helpful for knowing who actually watched"
I mostly use Loom for async updates, and the viewer analytics have been way more useful than I expected. I can see who watched, how long they stuck around, and if someone skipped or missed a section, I can follow up without having to guess. My brother actually asked me how I keep track of who’s seen what at work, and this is basically it. The engagement info also helps me figure out if my video was clear or if I rambled too long. It’s not perfect every single time, but it definitely cuts down on a lot of back and forth

"Pretty much every admin tool should be this simple"
Loom has been super easy for us to manage as a team. Adding new people, removing folks who don’t need access anymore, and adjusting permissions is all straightforward. admin stuff is usually a headache everywhere, but this feels way less annoying. I like that we can keep the workspace organized without clicking through a million settings. It just makes sharing team videos feel cleaner and less chaotic. No real complaints from me.

I was surprised by how quickly I got it working. I expected to spend a while figuring things out, but everything came together fast and I was up and running before I knew it.

"AI summaries are useful sometimes, but not always"
I use Loom often for quick work videos, usually when I don’t feel like typing out a whole explanation in Slack. The AI summaries are kind of hit or miss for me though. Sometimes it nails the general idea, but other times it completely skips the main point or adds wording that I definitely didn’t say. I was recording one the other morning while drinking cold coffee, and the summary made it sound way more confident and organized than I actually was. It does save time when it works, but I still end up editing most of the summaries, so it hasn’t been as helpful as I hoped...

"Super clear and easy to use"
I use Loom for quick work recordings, and the videos come out clear literally every time. Even when I’m jumping between tabs, the screen text is still easy to read. The audio sync has been solid too. i haven’t had any issues so far
